Living Pictures Productions, Movement Director

Robert Bowman and Denise in rehearsal for touring production of critically acclaimed Diary of a Madman.

Bowman's characterization was voted as Best Male Performance at the Wales Theatre Critics Awards in 2013.

Bowman is working with Denise to refine his performance for national touring.

Chapter Arts Center in Cardiff, Wales is a multi-artform cultural space where Denise led workshop titled “Sensory Awareness: Immediacy Counts” July 12-13, 2014.

“During the spring of 2015 I visited University of Wales Trinity Saint David and presented master classes in Acting and Movement at the university. During this visit I was introduced to Robert Bowman who now teaches at Central School of Drama in London and is co-director of Living Pictures UK. We became collaborators for the project Coed Dylan, a place in Carmarthen, Wales where ‘artists, individuals and the environment are nurtured and developed.’ I returned in the summer and taught outreach workshops and led the “Art as Human Experience” seminar in Cardiff. I also brought UNCG students and they were participants in workshops with professional directors, actors and teachers from London.”
